Pickup from your hotel as early as 6:00 AM. Breakfast included along the way. You'll arrive in Matmata around 9:30 AM — a unique Berber village where people have lived for centuries in houses carved into the ground to escape the heat. Visit an authentic troglodyte house with its owners, and taste Berber bread and mint tea.
Then head to Tatooine — the exact location where George Lucas filmed Star Wars. You'll discover the original Luke Skywalker house set, preserved for 40 years. Guaranteed photo opportunities.
At noon, arrive at the lush oasis of Ksar Ghilane, hidden in the middle of the desert. A camel ride (45 minutes) through the golden dunes, followed by a traditional Berber lunch at the oasis: grilled meats, salads, fresh fruit. The afternoon: relax by the Sahara thermal lake, or try quad biking (optional) toward the ruins of Castle Tisavar.
Return in the late afternoon with a final stop at sunset. You'll be back at your hotel around 10:00 PM, with unforgettable memories.
